Hi, toto.

Many thanks, as Learner spotted it is a Flex Innovations Cessna 170.  Not cheap but well sorted. Impeccable manners and a delight to fly. Would

make a great first larger model.

The dealer is Aerobatx in the U.K., great service.

👍

For Not Cheap read eye-watering, 😮

Lovely looking Cessna though and beautifully captured images.👍

Hi Merry Mark,

I checked the USA site just out of curiosity and was well impressed with the look of the model. I believe the wingspan is a tad over 2.0m. It's maybe one for the future. I have an FMS Beaver which comes in at about 2.0m and a Twin Otter which is quite a big bird too.

I need to get myself sorted just flying my Supercub and get solo again and then fly the hell out of it to get more consistent. ..... nothing to say that I won't revisit your cessna at some time in the future though.

Thanks for posting it up.

Forgot to mention Mark

I do have a Seagull Cessna Turbo Skylark 182 which I have had for some time now but which won't be seeing the light of day anytime soon. It was one of my initial purchases about close on 2 years ago now when I first started out on the forum.

Cessna's were always ( and still are ) one of my favourite models. So it's sitting in its box awaiting me gaining more experience. ...... it may have a bit of a wait yet ...... :classic_laugh: I don't mind though ..... I'm in no rush. I'll enjoy trying the more sedate and supposedly tamer foamie high wing trainer ( type ) models that I have for now. I have been well advised on here and I'm generally taking heed ..... although it does not stop me from collecting models for the future as others will confirm .......  :classic_laugh:.

If you have any videos of yours in flight ..... it would be more than welcome.

So .... no show so far by the Royal Mail with my Supercub ..... waste of a day.

However .... I did nip out to B and Q and pick up some more dexion shelving. Something done I suppose.

Supercub arrived today. Not had the chance to check it out yet as still working but hopefully get on with that tonight. There is very little to the initial assembly so should at least get that much done tonight if I don't have any distractions.

On the move again.

A step forward as the Supercub is assembled as I target my first flight of the year for this weekend.

Tomorrow it's charge batteries, calibrate ESC and hopefully get the receiver programmed etc. There are still a couple of variables outwith my control ..... weather .... as always being one of them and my mentors availability being another but I believe he should be OK.

Dying to get the Supercub back in the air and get my hand back in. The intension ..... all things falling into place ..... is to make a full scale assault on my attempt to get A cert ready and get myself over the line as early in the year as possible.

Then the fun begins. So many possibilities going forward.

Timetable for making Saturday already beginning to slide. Domestics getting in the way.

I have tomorrow and Friday night to complete the setting up of the Supercub. Still doable but don't like being up against time and rushing things.

Never simple is it.

Forecast for the weekend looks not too bad at all - Sunday possibly a little better than Saturday.. If you already have the original Super Cub in your model memories it should just be a matter of rebinding the AR620 to the transmitter, then checking all is correct, shouldn't it?

Hi Leccy,

I'll try that. I am just returning from the shed after charging my transmitters and checking my Lipos. Only one lipo needed a charge as the rest were sitting at between 92 and 95 % charged.

I'll look into the setting up tomorrow night. ..... getting there.

It maybe that the original settings take over but I can't remember if I had the Vector system in the last model. I've taken it out of this one. So. Might need to reset things.

So ..... its looking good for the shed tonight so far. Spoke to my mentor to confirm for tomorrow. It looks flyable at present. So if I get all the set up right with both transmitters and receiver as well as buddying, failsafe, ESC calibration and rates etc ...... a final phone call tomorrow morning to confirm things and hopefully my first flight of the new year.

We agreed that if I am not confident that I have nailed the setup properly ...... its then next week end. Let's see how I get on. It's been a while since I done all this programming stuff and don't want to rush it. Start the season off with a correctly set up model ...... and fly the hell out of it.

That's what's happening.
