Kevin peacock
So... The house went on the market this week and I have a lot of stuff to find homes for, airframes, engines, kits and much more. I was thinking virtual garage sale. If you want a bit of modeling history email me. Peacock dot kevin1 at g mail dot com. I'm sure you can work that out 🙂
kevin b
As much as I would love some of your dad's stuff I am resigned to the fact that I have more than enough to last me out ! Why not contact the BMFA and see if they want it all for their next auction ? Save you the problem of sorting it all out and their fees are very reasonable. kc
You could consider having a table at the ModelAir Old Warden model flying day - next is 13th &14th May.     Also one in July and September.  Be able to sell all the planes and odd bits there I should think.   Get it all done in a day or weekend. Much easier than having to be at the house all the time to allow people to collect models.   I have to say from experience as an executor that selling hobby stuff to an enthusiast and having it go to a good home to someone who really appreciates it is more satisfying. Andy Stephenson
Some great prices paid for items on the BMFA auction. It seems the recommended way to sell. I bid on a couple of items in the last sale and they went for way more than I bid, in fact way more than I was expecting.
