RICHARD WILLS
No Chris , they are , like me , working class , hence all awaiting trial as you previously suggested .
Eric Robson
Warbirds Replicas workshop The bad weather we've had lately has brought forward the winter repairs, The Tempest has had retracts fitted and some patching up, not quite finished. The Mustang has had a front end and wing centre section rebuild, motor etc to be fitted. Not enough speed on landing in gusty conditions, they don't like cartwheeling. The Yak9 was my fault set aileron reverse and didn't verify it.

Pilot error with the Tempest half a mistake high.
gillyg1
I'm glad i'm not the only one who has mishaps, you've done well putting them back together Eric. 👍 Any news on the 110 front ? from Mr RW, expect the timming has to be right, as can be an expensive time of year for some. Thinking holidays 🤔

Thinking holidays 🤔 Having some Fw190s and Tempests made for the Best of British meeting at BMFA HQ in September . Ive asked for 110s as well , but whether they come along before or after the show depends on kit cutter's other demands .

leccyflyer
There was some discussion on the long running Horizon Hobby Warbirds for 2024 thread on RCG in which some folks were wishing for a Ju88 yesterday, so I pointed them at Adrian Hayward's build thread for the Warbirds Ju88 kit. The chances of HH making a Ju88 are somewhere between slim and zero. If they do any sort of warbird other than yet another bush plane derivative, the chances are it'll be another P-47 or P-51 in one of their previously done sizes, but with a different paint scheme and a higher price tag. Folks on those threads quite often propose aeroplanes that there is no chance of the manufacturer doing, because in the end run they simply would not sell in sufficient volumes to warrant shelling out for the expensive injection moulds. Then they would just be discontinued in a couple of years and the spares dry up. That's one of the key unique selling points that a low volume, dedicated and enthusiastic manufacturer like Richard wins hands down and it's how you get things like a Ju88, or a Yak or a Tempest in the line up. Or, indeed a Mosquito...............

leccyflyer
Mine is in the build queue for this winter - which might as well have already started judging by the wind and rain this morning.
