Outrunner
If you have only one broken switch could you not assign that function to another switch?
Rocker
I have stuck a cocktail stick in the switch and that works OK I also have a loose throttle lever .Looks like I might have to try and put some epoxy glue to try and secure itĀ I do not think I be buying anymore Futaba gear now .Not if there is no back up in the UK for FutabaĀ Radios anymore .š®āšØ.If it had been a Spektrum radio there would not be any problem getting it repairedĀ
Paul De Tourtoulon
Sad to hear that you would abandon Futaba for Spectrum, for a 10ā¬ switch, I had a faulty one on mine a few months ago I swapped it around for another that I never used. Ā Surely there is a tv or electronics shop that could do it, or even a club member.
Jon H
A friend is a former Futaba service engineer and he isnt opposed to the odd job on the side. I can make an introduction if it helps.Ā Edited August 29, 2023 by Jon - Laser Engines
Rocker
The switch is not the problem I could find someone in our club could put a new switch on for me .It us the throttle lever has come loose and the problem.I am told the problemĀ is getting a new yoke from futaba so the throttle lever can fit properly again .It isĀ getting spare parts for Futaba radios that is the problem .I brought a new 10J so I just transfer the models on to that and put the old 10 J in the draw and leave it at that .Any new model from now on will be fitted with Spektrum radioĀ Ā
kc
Of course today is the day after a Bank Holiday and many people have an extra day's holiday - so maybe Ripmax will answer the phone tomorrow?
