Ron Gray
Glad you mentioned that, I’ve now removed 2/3rds of the weight which moves the CG back to 90 mm back from F2 but I think I can remove all of the weight which will move it back to approximately 100mm back.

That is excellent news. Drops my expected take off weight by a fair chunk - suspect I can hit 90mm without any ballast. Very pleased by that news, I must say! Ron Gray
I would suggest starting off with it at 80mm and then see how it feels.

Ron Gray
A CoG update, I removed all of the additional noseweight before flying yesterday and can report that it flies perfectly OK with it like that, it is not over sensitive on the elevator and inverted requires less ‘down’ as you would expect. TBH when I carried out a CG flying test it indicated that it was still a bit nose heavy, but I’m OK with it as it is. I didn’t measure the CG position but will do that later and publish on here. My only issue now is restraining myself from flying it like a Reno racer but even at WOT boy is it planted and completely non scale knife edge passes are rock solid! Ron Gray
I've just measured the CG and it is now at 100mm back from F2.
