Thanks for posting, always interesting to see another person's build.

Thanks stu, I was always good at woodwork when I was at school, and it must be like riding a bike in that you never forget. A big thanks to the Forum and its members because without it and the interest shown I probably would not be building; I agree following others builds is interesting and often informative.

I must get Hound Dog ready for its maiden and finish Peggy Sue II, The Ohmen is also in the Queue. I will keep posting.

Looking at the plan. The one for the main spar is bonded on the aft side to the vertical webs also on the aft side.

The other is bonded to the front of the rear spar, the plan I'm looking  at is on outerzone.

The barnstormer has struts... which can be made to carry flight loads so those braces wouldn't need to be massive in my opinion.

Since the side view doesn't show the bracds against either the upper or lower spar. I would probably bond to the lower... that way it is invisible from above when covered.

But you could make your own to go between or to suit the height over the spars if you wish.

Thats a positive for plan building modify to suit your preference.

That's the only way Ron.

I have made the cabane plates, I've nearly run out of things to make, and it struck me that the rear cabane plate is glued to the centre sheet.

Hmmm it would be a good idea to add the sheet now I thought, as I am not following the build sequence, what could go wrong?

Now I am at the wing root I am having more thoughts about the dihedral brace locations, which is good brain gym. Thinking does help.
