Hi everyone, just wanted to share that I have done a homework project to try and pass on all the things  I have learnt from this experience to other patients who suffer a neurological injury:

I received some more incredible feedback on my guide yesterday from my old rehab centre, they seem to love it - so they are going to give a printed copy to every new patient who is admitted there from now on!!! It just feels amazing, to know all my hard earned knowledge will help others in their recovery journies!  😎

Yes look what I managed to do yesterday!  The mower I borrowed from my neighbour wasn’t ideal as it was quite heavy and not a self propel , but my petrol mower would be too scary and heavy for the immediate future

If you are free later this week, my lawn needs mowing as well 😁.

BUT

That is great news, well done and keep going.  👍

Literally you are about the 5th or 6th person to request via social media that I  mow their lawn  since I first posted that picture on Facebook yesterday!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Looks like you have the potential to start a new business!

Except I am not yet cleared to drive yet so couldn’t get myself to jobs as the dvla still haven’t got back to me on whether I passed my visual field test or not! Besides I already have a full time job thanks that pays better than lawn mowing!

Damn, the cranioplasty op to repair the hole in my skull has been postponed until 12th  Nov because I had Covid last week, even though I’m now resting Covid negative - the surgical team take the risk of infection super seriously obviously!  😢 it’s very disappointing though, as I am desperate to get rid of the rubber helmet once and for all but I just have to tell myself it’s only a few weeks more! Until this is in my noggin!

Good grief - that's massive! Not sure what I was expecting, but not that...

Fingers crossed you're able to get your skull upgraded on 12th.

It's a big hole - ~4" at the widest point! and the plate has to be screwed into the bone either sode, so a large overlap is required

Wonder what that does for the range of your Tx. 🤔😉i

It won’t  make any difference because tit’s non ferrous, the same reason that my head won’t beep when scanned at the airport!
