I thought I’d connect everything up … I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself - it’s looking awesome! 🤣 still need to do final c of g checks and test how much power the motors make, but other than that it’s just about ready to fly… I like the stabilised Lemon RX receivers if your transmitter will do DSMX. Might be worth considering?
GrumpyGnome
Looks awesome! Can't suggest any stab options I'm afraid.

Thanks - I’m using radiomaster tx16, I think it can do dsmx so I might try one.. 😉
Chris Walby
Just thought I would ask, why do you have to have a gyro RX? PS I thought the process was to fly the model with the gyro off, then once trimmed in select the gyro and set the gain etc up..if it goes pear shaped you can revert to switching the gyro off. Have I missed something?
GrumpyGnome
If your TX16S has an mpm, you can certainly use Lemon receivers

In general Archer plus receivers do bind to the MPM as long as the MPM firmware is sufficiently recent (I fixed a bug in the MPM a while ago). I just checked using 1.3.3.33 on the MPM. GrumpyGnome
That's great news Mike. I've avoided them in the past. Cheers.
gillyg1
Martin Yes i like the He 111, have spoken to RW, about it, but don't think there is much chance off getting a kit though. Like you say in the minority. However did find on outer zone a free down load of Chas Maudes 74" one, along with the mag article at the time. Radio Modeller Feb 83. Was for 2x 25, 2strokes i think. Future project maybe ? Cheers Graham.
martin collins 1
Ahead of you there Graham but a kit is so much quicker to build and we all know the quality of Richards kits..........

chris meek 1
Still making slow progress- I kind of lost my mojo for a little bit so progress stopped for a few weeks. Back at it though! Escs setup and receiver linked… the twirly bit go round now! Now just to measure the power used with the motors running at max power, and check that the c of g is right. But at least now I can get it taxying up and down the runway! (Must resist temptation to pull back on the stick though until I’ve made sure c of g is right!!)
