As I read more - it may make sense to get my daughter (who is mad keen) a transmitter she can grow with, as she progresses and becomes more comfortable that can then be used for other planes. Andy Gates Posted November 10 Share Posted November 10 Any transmitter on the market could be described as suitable. I assume she will learn to fly at a club nearby. Visit that club and listen to what the likely instructors suggest. If you buy something which is not compatible with the equipment they use to teach with, then the new transmitter will not get use until she can fly on her own. Update the firmware and you get 10 channels... We're now discussing requirements in 2 separate threads, which is going to be confusing.
