Sam Longley
I am about to buy one of the above transmitters. However, stockists seem to have only mode 2 in stock. Going on line suggests that one can change mode within the software similar to the way I can with my existing (horrid user unfriendly) Futaba 14sg. Trouble is that it is not just software that needs changing. The springs in the gimbals have to be altered. I know that the face of the gimbals can come off when changing gimbals . My question is- can one access the springs in the throttles easily when changing modes or is it best to order mode 1 from the start & wear the wait for the right model? Neil R
I got my Mode 1 from T9 Hobbysport who ordered it in direct from Frsky. Took about 3 weeks to arrive. I couldn’t find any how-to videos for this model at the time.
Philip Lewis 3
Dead easy, your TX will basically be the same as this. Edited December 23, 2024 by Philip Lewis 3 Spelling
Sam Longley
Thanks for that. The throttle stick adjustment is a little vague, but I think one needs the transmitter in one's hand & it will become clear Regards Sam L
Philip Lewis 3
It will be, it's quite simple, back off the ratchet and friction and transfer to the other side and loosen the vertical spring tension completely on one side and wind it up on the other side, thats all there is to it, a five minute job. Alternatively try asking the dealer to do it for you as many will. Edited December 23, 2024 by Philip Lewis 3 Spelling
