martin collins 1
Every time i try to go onto the BMFA Classifieds section today i get a pop up asking me to confirm cookies, i don`t want advertising cookies, the advertising ones are auto off so i click confirm choices, but it won`t let me into the site. Eventually i got fed up with this and grudgingly selected confirm all, it then directs me not to the correct site but something that looks like it may have been BMFA but out of the dark ages. Frustrating, i will be sending Manny an email asking what is going on..............
leccyflyer
I had a similar issue trying to follow Ron's link about camping at the National Centre. It directed my to what looked like a holding page for website construction, with desd links to things like youth basketball and other sports which were nothing to do with BMFA and nothing to do with camping. Gave up in the end.
Dickw
I just tried the classifieds and no queries about cookies. Is this the link you used? https://classifieds.bmfa.org/search-listings Dick

Is this the link you used? https://classifieds.bmfa.org/search-listings Dick I used this link without any real problems except I had to log in. I had a strange message about site maintenance when I tried to go to page 2 of the Airframes and Kits section but it worked OK at the second attempt. GrumpyGnome
Possibly linked to the significant issues Andy S referred to in another thread....... my club site reverted to an April (?) 2023 version for a while but it's come back up to date...
Andy Stephenson
The cookies thing pops up randomly so if you click back when ever you get it then click on the link you want it will eventually go there.

martin collins 1
Won`t let me in at all now, this is the link used https://classifieds.bmfa.org/ just keeps bringing up the cookies page, i select it as set which is without the ads but it just brings up a blank page. If i select all cookies it brings up an old BMFA page with large blue blocks with the different subject in, not had an issue with it till 4 or 5 days ago? Andy Gates
I rarely visit classifieds, but I did last night and had no issues what so ever. Can I suggest you clear out your browser caches and try again? History clearance will not clear the browsers cache.

Nigel Heather
Just tried and it works fine for me. Using https://bmfa.justgo.com/ for the portal. Classifieds then accessed off the portal menu.

Halsey
Rubbish this morning!
Halsey Posted Wednesday at 16:28 Share Posted Wednesday at 16:28 When is this going to get sorted - this forum must have more clout than individuals. Is there a BMFA rep on the forum? Not "life and death" in any way - but very frustrating.
GrumpyGnome Posted Wednesday at 17:57 Share Posted Wednesday at 17:57 There is a response from Andy S on 11/3..... he works full time for the BMFA, but I wouldn't say that he is, in any way shape or form, a BMFA 'rep' for the forum
john stones 1 - Moderator Posted Wednesday at 20:05 Share Posted Wednesday at 20:05 Forum has same Clout any BMFA member has, nothing more, Andy Symons does frequent the boards and he also works full time, classified is working fine for me at present. Halsey Posted Wednesday at 21:07 Share Posted Wednesday at 21:07 I accept that others may have different experiences but for me its a total waste of time at my end today added to which eBays new buyer favoured policy makes that a non starter for the foreseeable future - so in reality there's no real environment available to sell stuff................shame. Anyone want a FLAIR CUB kit in truly unbelievable as new condition - PM me At least today was a very good flying day (and tomorrow) in our part of the world and that is what really matters.
