Nicholas Kay
Looking to increase my prop from a 12 x 6 to 12.5 x 6 and maintain some scale appearance. Bought the larger prop only to find the hole is 5/16" not a 1/4". I have looked around for a tube 1/4" ID 5/16" OD, but nothing on the shop sites I can find. Any suggestions? Doug Ireland
Hi Nicholas, have a look for Ripmax spinners as some of them come with a set of bushes to fit just about every shaft size. Either that or use a couple of bits of snake outer slit down the side.
Myron Beaumont
This subject has been extensively covered before . Originally it was to do with the difference between Imperial holes & Metric ones. Turns out that a few of us had a few spare imperial holes knocking about in the shed but couldn't find them .I too have mislaid my selection & I think they might have been Imperial .If i ever find one your size I'll PM you.In the meantime -hang onto the hole you have 'cos it might be of some use to someone else . Don't loose it -they're the very devil to locate when not in situ G-UMPY
