The hall is not large enough for conventional shock flyers, but suitable for smaller indoor R/C models. Models to be flown are to be limited to a maximum weight of 95g for fixed wing aircraft in flight trim, including battery (not to exceed a 2-cell LiPo). Helicopters limited to a rotor diameter of 305mm (12”). All models will be weighed before flight, and will be judged on their suitability for the venue on the evening. Fixed wing models such as the Parkzone Ultra Micro series appear to be most suited to the hall. Flying at these events will take place in accordance with our indoor flying guidelines (available on our website).
 
Admission £5 for fliers and £1 for spectators and junior fliers, whilst accompanied junior spectators and parents of junior fliers will be admitted free.
 
Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance.

When busy there will be 10min slots (repeated every 30min) for small/scale models, larger/fast models (shockies and racers) and helicopters.

An eight-badminton court size sports hall, particularly suitable for lightweight indoor R/C models. Flying at these events will take place in accordance with our indoor flying guidelines (available on our website). Admission £9 for fliers and £1 for spectators and junior fliers, accompanied junior spectators and parents of junior fliers admitted free.
 
Fliers will be required to show proof of insurance.
 
These events are supported by the BMFA Southern Area.
