Hi guys, I've decided to step up from correx and foam pss models and build from Andy Conway's Bae Hawk plan.

No doubt I'll be asking plenty of questions along the way...

Hopefully you guys will be able to help with any problems I come across 😁😁

I've decided to build my 1st 'proper' pss model, not correx 😢 or even foam, but traditionally from balsa.

The chosen model is Andy Conway's plan of a Bae Hawk.

Any advice, photos or modifications will be graciously recieved.

I don't see it being ready for the slopes this summer, but hopefully by autumn/winter.

I've now have the kit and I've made a start on the fuselage, normal Stan construction except it has plastic doublers for the fuz sections instead of the light ply one's used in his 'newer" kits.

As a fan of Phoenix models (Stan Yoe) I could not resist the chance of an untouched kit of the Quisling when one came up on flea bay.
Funny thing is that I've never seen one and can't find any details on the tinter net 😕
