  1. If any of the above people would like a copy of the build of the large La7 by Brian Brassey from flying scale models send me a message and I will email one to you cheers Peter
  2. thought you might like to see a winter camouflage scheme, this shows up well at our field which has 2 sides covered in high trees, regular camouflage schemes disappear aginst the backdrop cheers
  3. Hi jr, spoke to Richard who is pleased , can you publish your list of takers, and Richard will look at his schedules Cheers
  4. spoke to Richard today, said he needs 10 to make it viable, I will make the list upto 10 if as he said cost around £180 pounds and keep the second in reserve, or if needed let someone else have it Let me know what he says. Cheers, as I have a laser 80 waiting
  5. Well done Richard, have been flying my La7 for two weeks now with total success. Took it down to my club, put it on the grass and got a chorus of "don't like those pointy wings, bet it tipstalls like mad,etc etc"., so being a coward I let our Chairman do the test flight, as he is by way of being our best flyer and does most test flights. After a very extended first flight I managed to get it off him with the comment "I would never have expected that from such a powerful looking warbird, it flies just like a low wing sports plane". Pass the message around and see if we can generate enough interest to get Richard to do a batch of the larger version.
  6. spoke to Richard a few weeks ago, he said that ten kits is a good number, if we can persuade him to run another batch, I will happily put down a deposit before he starts. ps if you contact him again ask about a yak 9 kit
  7. Would be great if we could persuade Richard to do another batch of the larger La7 's or Yak 9s but unless there are enough like minded people out there , it seems that there is not a lot of luck with this.
  8. Help required, after a rebuild of my big ship, following an argument with a tree that steped out in front of me, I have lost my plans and cannot remember where th c of g is, can anyone assist, cheers Peter Harvey

  10. Thanks Peter, will try reducing lead first, then maybe try playing with tail and wing incidences, unless someone else has a brainwave. love your designs, my Harlequin flew brilliantly until recently I thought I could fly in the gap between the top of the trees bordering our club and the low winter sun, big mistake, I have just started on the Big Ship, and hope this flys as well. Many thanks for much fun
  11. Have just flown my Sandow fro the first time, take off was novel, all over the place, so hand launched. It flew well but seemed to adopt a nose up attitude, as though tail heavey, which it wasn,t, also rudder was fairly insensitive (possibly blanked by fus. One of our older members who has flown ff for years reckoned it was nose heavey, which seemed strange as I would have thought the opposite, it dossent balloon when the throttle was opened fully. Has anyone got any ideas?????? puzzled of Stockport
  12. still not received mine, come on Santa, its been in the newsagent for 5 days here, not a very good service by post Peter
  13. Lovely planes all, but back to Sparrowhawk, I,ve seen several threads on different forums concerning C of G, has anybody had any experience of this before I fly mine for the first time. GC as shown by Seagull seems a bit rearwards as I would havw expected 30-35% chord. Cheers
