Looking at my pup it has a 17" prop,
doing a google search should find plenty of other electric conversions as it's a popular plane

I have just upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 ultimate
No problems, I accept that there will be a few niggling problems
my windows 10 reserve icon disappeared so I used the download tool in link below. this can be used for upgrading or downloading an iso for standalone/clean install. use at own risk

My experience has been the complete opposite.
I ordered a £50 touch screen charger which upon 1st use the display disappeared after a few minutes.
I contacted HK who asked me to fill out a rma form with pictures and video (uploaded to youtube). Within a day I had a reply back saying a replacement was on its way. This arrived within a day and seems fine. I also asked when they were going to collect the faulty one. I had a reply saying keep it for spares or repair it.
I think this is exceptional service which most shops wouldn't offer.

I have just ordered one of these as it has a battery hatch to allow lipo use, unlike the previous ones (of which I have 2, 1 ic os 56 alpha, 1 electric with A123's permanently installed). the size means I can fit it in the car assembled which is useful.

The beast 60 is the best flying plane I have and it flys like it's on rails. Below is kit used with costs sep 2013. The beast isn't as fast as it would be with eflites recommended kit but it fine for me. When choosing a new car last year one of the priorities was that I could fit the beast in assembled.
There is a large thread on rc groups, **LINK**

Just been flying my HK skipper, Brilliant fun, ground control amazing, very stable even at slow speed, touch and goes fun, 7mins on a 1300 pack average throttle (14% left). just ordered another in case I have to much fun and get carried away

They would fit, but according to forums the plane does not fly as well

Saw 3 of these in our club on Sunday, impressed so I bought one as I have a stock of 3s 1300mAh. A similar one for those who would like to make one is called Polaris. link to forum about it including pdf plans below

Talk about a nice little earner, pasted from the bbc website
According to the Go Fund Me site's terms and conditions, the organisation deducts 8% from each donation in administration and processing fees - equivalent to more than £26,000 on the £329,566 raised by 09:00 GMT.

6 months ago I replace my 1997 audi 6 estate with a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2L Petrol AWD estate as it was one of only a few cars that could take the Beast 60 fully assembled, I actually took the plane to the garages and found that it wouldn't fit in most cars including the Mondeo, length was fine but width was to narrow as they had filled any spaces with compartments. legacy is crap on mpg (26 average) but majority of driving is local. Suspension is very definitely sport.

I am not implying anything, just making people aware so they don't get stung. I shall still be ordering from hobby king even from the international warehouse but I will be checking pricing to see if it's worth it or wait and see if it appears in the uk warehouse.
-
When placing an order, the value of that order is written on the outside packaging. if value of that order is less than £15 (might be £18 now) then you will not pay vat (import duty) and the handling charge. Above this figure and you will be liable for import duty (vat) and the handling charge. Previously you used to be able to select toy parts and a % of total value to be declared. eg £140 order, declare 10% parcel has £14 written on it and no charges. now £140 would be written hence vat @20% and handling charge added
-
Just received a royal mail card requesting vat and £8 handling fee on a small package from the international warehouse. (items not available in uk or European).
Apparently Hobby king no longer offer product type and customs figure declaration. ordering from the uk and probably European warehouses should be ok. Suggest you add vat and handling charge (approx. £8 royal mail, £15 parcel farce) to see if its still worth placing an order.Edited By David Ashby - RCME on 17/11/2014 12:36:00

Very enjoyable program.
If you are interested in the technical side of ww2 then I can recommend (one of the best books I have read) 'most secret war british scientific intelligence 1939-45' by RV Jones. In 1977 the BBC produced a 7 part series based on the book fronted by William Woolard. The BBC has just this week released the series on DVD -
I bought one of these last week and I have to say the covering material is rubbish. The clear film part of the covering has completely come away from the colour part on the leading edge of the top wing. the same is happening over other parts of the plane (using low task masking tape pulls it off). As it's an unknown covering I'm loathe to try and iron it down again. The covering is also difficult to remove for the cabane mounts on the wings and horizontal stabilizer (bits of covering are left on wood the same a solar film removal). If I hadn't got so far with it I would send it back for a refund. Mines going electric, heaven help any one with IC. Also don't use Acetone to remove excess Cyno as it might affect the covering (I have some yellow tissues which were white). I also had issues with the hinges. they seem to need a lot of Cyno and take some time to go off. I have had the following ARTF's which used Oracover; 2 wot4's, 2 wot4 xl, 2 Acro wots and the coverings been fine on them all.
Recommend something for sc70fs

A fellow club member had a 70 four stroke in one of these, excellent flyer, probably less crash resistant than wot 4 or acrowot
