Here's an interesting little item for the Lentus.

Steve. Good things come to those that wait.
Can you describe what "gatoring" is. I've had a quick look at my wings and they seem fine.
-
Steve, I understand the RR version has been harder to get than the kit and I suspect it's been very hard for Perkins to gauge the demand in the UK at this time for new products.
I'm always impressed by the Multiplex kit offerings, the level of thought, engineering, presentation and detail that they go into makes putting their models together a real joy.

Don't know what other folks are fitting but I've just ordered some bits for mine.
The MPX recommended Roxxy motor.
A Frsky Neuron 60S ESC
MPX 11X7 folding prop
-
My daughter just rang to say mine has been delivered, asked her to hide it from my accountant till I get home.
I've ordered the full MPX wiring loom set and the retractable wheel, in for a penny in for a pound. By the time I get the cable, MPX connecters and the faff off making them.. Life is too short.
Would make a great review model for the mag, I bet David has been hovering over the buy button
-
Curious if anybody that has or is getting one might be contemplating getting the retractable wheel.
-
Not sure. Spec shows the spinner and drive but no prop, I imagine it's because of the two power options.
Just ordered my Lentus kit so I'll see what it comes with.
Can't wait.

Touch wood.
I've never had a high, or low, value appliance fail on me without giving more than I could reasonably expect for as many years as I can remember.
I've read about screen burn on OLEDs but can't see any permanent logos on any of the stuff I watch so fingers crossed.
I got the TV from John Lewis because of the 5 year free warranty, as were my last 3 TVs.

That looks very nice in the flesh. Will be ordering one.
To add the foam discussion I've dunked my Heron twice, tip stalled after an atrocious hand launch (my fault) and ploughed into the strip fast during a low inverted pass.
Both times I expected write offs but each time minor damage was all that occurred. Wings separated in both incidences.
You can't beat foam for crashability.

Sounds like a great plan.

A bottle of nice Port.
A bottle of Baileys.
A shaver.
An Amazon voucher.
A book about the Atlantic war.
A book about the Falklands war.
A Ritzenhoff Wheat Beer Glass.
Some chocolate dipping twirls.
A Neebo Torch.
Airfix 1/72 Vulcan (new tool) forward order.
And thanks be to the heavens no socks or slippers.
🤗🤗😣

Thanks for your feedback all. Considering I've a bought a new TV about every 7 years trying to future proof myself I've treated myself to an LG 65" OLED BX model. Wow... very impressed with the image quality.
Not that I could afford it but I could have got away with a larger size.
Wonder what the technology will look like in 7 years time.

Hi All,
Contemplating replacing my 46 inch Panasonic LCD with a larger, newer model.
Wondered if anyone had gone through the same process and what you'd gone for in terms of size and technology.
Any advice gratefully received.

That makes sense.

If the prizes are unclaimed I'll save the trouble of storing them. Postage paid.

What is strictly 2020 ?

That looks Gorgeous . I've been looking for something a bit bigger than my much loved Heron.
Struggled to find anything to meet my criteria.
Multiplex know how to fill a gap.
Thanks Steve for the post.

This years Advent draw seems to have recruited rather a lot of new members, can't wait to see their future contributions and modelling pics

Very sorry to be rather negative.
I understand things have to progress and the old site has been put to bed for sound technical reasons.
I just can't make head nor tail of what's going on, seems the screen is populated with rather too much dead white space and I'm not sure I want to see who has replied to who and who has changed their Avatar.
Can't complain as it's a free service but the effort V reward just doesn't add up for me.
I'm no stick in the mud as I embrace change but this one's not for me.
Oh well..☹️
