  14. I've been back to see what's left of Ted's modelling collection. A lot of the old magazines have been sold to a collector but we still found some interesting model's and literature. This is just a taster. I will be adding to this thread very soon.

  16. Just done a quick search and Lady Whitten Brown is the wife of the Scottish aviator. Sir Arthur Whitten Brown, the first man to fly across the Atlantic. He lived just a stones throw away from me in Langland until his death in 1948. Lady Whitten Brown presented the prizes at the 1951 National Championships at Fairwood, Swansea. The Flea is at Fairwood and the Goppengen landed a bit short of Fairwood in a field near Venaway Lane.
