  1. I kept the dihedral as per plan. I built it mainly so I had a little easy to fly plane that I could let anybody fly. I thought the dihedral would help with the lateral stability and help the plane maintain level flight when they got into trouble! I will probably end up building a second set of wings without any dihedral too, but I’ll see how it flies first. @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);

  5. @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css); That’s good news about the weight. I have just finished building an electric powered Mini Tyro and it has come out at a flying weight of 457gm. I’ve added ailerons with a servo in each wing, a larger 2830 brushless motor and 3S 1000mAh battery which all push the weight up. Currently with an 8x3.5apc slow fly prop it pulls 85 watts. Hopefully the weather will be ok for a maiden soon.   Edited By Pete H on 31/10/2011 22:57:03
