  1. I don't recall anything in the instructions about differential - I usually start with some when I first set a plane up. I started with the most forward cg of those recommended and then, after the first flight, added yet another wheel balancer to calm it down. I can't tell you the exact position now without re-assembling it.

Sorry, I don't have a spare cabin hatch.

  2. I use Aerofly Professional Deluxe on my iMac where I run OS X mountain lion. It's a good simulator although its selection of models is biased towards continental Europe and I had to swap over a couple of the connections on the lead which SMC sent me to get it to work with a DX6i. If you get this one I'd be interested to know how you get on.

  3. Can anyone explain why it should be the inside wing which stalls first in a turn? Since the outer wing has a down-going aileron and, therefore an increased angle of attack I should have thought the plane would tend to fall outwards.

  4. I think you, Simon and BEB have provided two distinct and consistent explanations of this.

i would now like to ask why, with conventional centre-hinged ailerons (I'm excluding balanced ailerons and Frise ailerons for the moment) you necessarily get adverse yaw.

I have been assured that this is simply the consequence of drag being proportional to lift. The lowered aileron results in more lift and, hence, more drag while the raised aileron reduces lift and drag.

Is this a correct and complete explanation?
