On the Weston Park show website I saw a photo of the flight line with enormous eight foot fences separating the crowds from the flight area. I haven't attended for a few years but these fences would appear to spoil the whole experience of sitting on your camp chair on the flight line watching over a 3ft fence with a clear view of all the proceedings. Does anybody know if the same fences will be used again this year?

EarlyBird, I have solved the 2 servo wing problem. I programmed a mix as you suggested, channel1 master and channel5 slave, then reversed channel5. No switches involved. It took a while cos some other preprogrammed stuff was interfering.
The duel rates thing looks a bit harder.

Rich, you can connect to a PC via a usb cable or connect through Bluetooth. I've done both, but I think Bluetooth is preferable, I am storing the plane data on my tablet and I can take that to the field.

This could be in system which allows setting up the AUX channels. Channel 5 for second wing servo and Channel 1 as the Master maybe. Not having a T8FB I can go no further as I am only reading the manual.
Thanks for looking. Into it EarlyBird, I'll set that up on the bench and see if I can get it working along those lines.

ok Colin.maybe downloading the manual will help.
ken anderson...ne..1..manual dept.
Nah, it came with a manual and the downloadable one is the same, they don't go beyond the basics. I have emailed the makers so we'll see what they come up with. Deciphering the chinglish, although not difficult is sometimes amusind - servo wrench = servo travel, for instance. Must admit my Chinese ain't great!

hello colin, there is a wealth of knowledge on google/u.tube...type in what you are after programming...i found a lot of how to do stuff.

I have had a go Ken, obviously not as well as I should. There does seem a dearth of info on the cheapy T8FB though and the videos on YouTube seem to only cover the basics. I have a Tiranis but with 2 receivers and the tx for £60 and a new toy I couldn't leave it on the shelf.

Inhibit
Thanks EarlyBird, I did hazard a guess that it was inhibit but the other choices on the CD drop-down list are ON and OFF. So next question is what does inhibit do?

Hi Folk, is there anyone out there who understands the finer points of the T8FB tx. I've managed to adjust the throttle curve and instigated a motor safety cutout on SWA but little else. Surely there is a way to facilitate a 2 sevo wing and to bulld in dual rates. And what on earth does INH stand for. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi Erfolg
Use a drawing program (I use Coreldraw) to construct your text at the size you need, then select the outline colour as black and the fill colour as white. Print out onto the paper/film you use and cut out just inside the black outline.

Further to my earlier post, I have contacted Stephen Bishop and he let me know that the picture in question was taken in Germany. Sorry, I was a bit hasty in posting.
