  1. Hi Martyn and Tony, The Axiome 70 biplane wings are approx. 30mm thick at the maximum thickness on a chord of 270mm so reasonably thin at around 11%. Yes we will be selling them Tony and expect to launch them at the Nats at an intro price.
  2. Gentlemen, Wow went out for a day today and lots of replies that I have now been through. For clarity I will be the instructor and do not really want to use my current high end tx . I am mode 1 and most of the pupils will be mode 2. Couple of simple supplementary questions if I may. Does the DX6 supersede the dx6i ? Is the DX6 DSMX only ? If so how would I buddy to pupil flying DSM 2 ? Is the DX8 DSM2 or DSMX ?
  3. Looking to purchase a not too expensive tx for training. Probably go spectrum due to popularity but have never flown spectrum. Recommendations please considering which are DSM2 or DSMX or both and what will buddy up with what. I miss the days when it was all so simple Fut or JR
  4. I have 35mm Secraft electric stand offs in stock Please forgive the lack of description on the website only just put them on
  5. Fabulous looking plane one of my absolute favourites. Can I get the kit of parts from Dylan also? Flown by G Naruke at the 1987 F3a world championships in France **LINK**
  6. Thanks, The same motor prop set up I have draws 68A and the customers ESC is a castle 80A so should be OK unless a bad connection is causing current to rise.
  7. After installation I test ran it with no propeller and all seemed well. Thursday evening at the flying field for its maiden flight I went through the usual safety checks before take off. The motor spooled up nicely but on opening the throttle it stopped as if it were braked. At present I cannot see why it would do this? When the prop is removed the motor runs perfectly under a no load situation. Can anyone diagnose the problem above for one of my customers? Poor connections?
  8. I would go for the Rhino 4900mah 25c which have missed your search
  9. Just a point on the Fantasista Comes in two sizes 110 and 70 size as the link above. I believe Ian bought his second hand and it is the 110 size probably running on 8s Hacker A50 16L or similar. Originates from BJ Craft (Korean) although the Fantasista is actually a Japanese design by Akiba who is one of the best half dozen f3a pilots in the world. It is a smaller copy of his 2m plane which is made by Oxai http://www.oxai-rc.com/old/main/Detail.aspx?ID=84&DID=487   Edited By chris Bond - Bondaero on 19/05/2015 08:25:11
  10. Well done Graham, the first comp can often be the hardest. Thank you for the write up and hope to see you at more comps. Love the Deluge as well
  11. Just a heads up - Interesting trimming article using a monolog 70 in the June RCMW
  12. Great to see this great build thank you for sharing
  13. do you have the throttle at minimum ? Esc will not arm unless throttle is moved to minimum, you may even have to drop the throttle trim down also.
  14. Not sure if it takes front mount or rear but I would consider **LINK** for front mount or **LINK** rear mount as budget options Or branded options Axi 5325/24 or hacker A60 7s **LINK**
  15. Mythos 125 is very a nice flier indeed and that set up will be fine although many do run the Mythos on 10s as it is a big aeroplane and not as light as some. If you are looking at using 8s packs rather than 2x 4s then make sure your charger has the capability to charge 8s The Turnigy G110 295kv is hard to beat on 8s for the money also
