  1. Thanks Ron, they arrived safely yesterday and tried them out in the evening just before flying. Worked really well, much quicker to use and safer too than the trusty screwdriver. I will distribute the other 9 pairs amongst clubmates. So cheap at a £1 a pair. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I think it might make a decent model TBH. I do wonder if the pilot might be a club member, or perhaps an ex-member, given the number of circuits. I got some nice in-flight pictures and I'd bet the pilot would quite like to see them.

The G-INFO website run by the CAA should give you the current owners name and address.

  3. I was given this glider recently with the rear fuselage in two halves and a bit of trailing edge missing.   Afer repairs, I flew it for the first time last week and can't wait for the thermals to come around again as it doesn't seem to want to come down.   It was built by a deceased club member who had quite a number of models that he designed himself, all of which flew reasonably well.   It was taken on by another member who didn't get on with it and that is when the damage ocurred.   Does anyone recognize it as a plan or kit built?   It has a wingspan of 111.25" and weighs in at 3lb 6oz.

    TIA

  4. I Bought a Radiolink AT9S about 5 years ago and like it. The manual is a bit difficult to comprehend at times but I use it mainly for electric powered gliders and have managed to program it for crow braking etc with a bit of head scratching. Servos are cheap and I haven't had any problems as yet. One minus thing to watch, the screen is not easy to see in full sunlight.

  5. Hi Rich, I'm not surprised with such a fertile mind.   The Gyroo looks great.   I hope this is the year that I get to fly a gyro for more than a minute before crashing.   If life doesn't get in the way!

  6. Perry and Matt, many thanks for your comments. I'm still leaning towards the Fledgling someone mentioned earlier although there seems to have been damage at the rear end and the tail feathers don't match up. Could have come from something else.
