Hi Matty, I bought one a while back and have had a few short flights most of which have been less than successful! Now repaired and awaiting for me to get my act together for another go. There is a French company on You tube that has some good videos called Opale Paramotors, have included one below. It has English subtitles and is for just the backpack type but the launch method is the same. I seemed to have more sucess with the ROG launch although you have to be quick to throttle back once it lifts.

Hi John, do you mean the depron 36" Long Eazy designed by Mike White? I have a copy of the build article which does not have brilliant photos but the text is ok. I can copy them or maybe scan them for you.

I heard a few weeks back that the drones operating out of Lydd were on behalf of the Border Force lookin for illegal immigrants. The Navajo over Boulogne is probably doing the same. The Spot The Glider website picks up drones all over the country.

Just re- reading your two Essential Tips books Peter. Lots of useful stuff and a few amusing bits too. Cheers Bob

For small quantities I use the plastic caps off of plastic milk bottles.

Thanks for the invite Rich, been meaning to arrive at one of the meets for a while. Will put it on my to do list for 2020. Haven't tried my Atom since the last re-build and my Whippet is coming back together but looks a bit moth eaten. Needs new blades but may just patch up the old ones. Have invested in a second hand Auto-G2 but not flown (tried) it yet. Feel that I have been flying the Atom & Whippet too slow as when I turn they seem to drop in an uncontrollable spiral dive (spin). Have bought a couple of more powerful motors. I will succeed one of these days!

Seem to remember seeing the LDA 01 flying many moons ago, can't remember where.

I use 7dayshop and have never had a problem with quality or delivery, I bought some of their batteries the week before last. Have used them for ages.

Interestingly, someone made a 1/3 scale model of the glider version

Hi Peter,
Any news on the MAK?

Yep, ditto all that from me.

If I do get round to building mine I will cheat and do it in the all white Herman Goering scheme but then there are some lovely schemes around.

Hi HM, I'm watching, have one in a box somewhere and may start it once all my other jobs get done!

Very nice Michael, love the colour scheme.

Hi David, many thanks for that, will keep a look out for it.

Renewed my subscription yesterday by phone and upgraded to add the digital. How long before I can access them?

I have had a fuselage for a foamie Acrowot on order since October, not best pleased!!

Thanks Bill and Alan. Searching the net, I'm leaning towards the funfighters.co.uk version of the Cambria Mustang. It has the inset ailerons but the cowlings do seem to be built up with balsa on their models although the fibreglass one on this model could be home made.
Cheers, Bob

Rescued this Mustang from being thrown in the bin yesterday. It is 43" span and 37" long. The wings are foam veneered. It was electric prior to a slight accident but I have to remove the engine/tank etc and return it. Anyone have an idea as to which kit and possibly the CoG? Can't seem to get the photos below the writing!!!
Cheers
