  1. Thanks Phil for me to get a speed controller and a servo tester is a bit over the top as I need to spend money but thanks for the idea if this motor could run on 36 volt sound good to me my kids like Speeeeeeeeed I am thinking to do a 2 or 3 speed mechanical speed controller is any body got any suggestion or diagram as to build one I am sure is the cheapest way around and probably easy to incorporate in the throttle pedals Thanks one again gentlemen
  2. Thank for all suggestion pilots but I realise that with a speed controller I would need a receiver to work so that's out of the question going to a mobility scooter service centre is a option .Morgan suggestion sounds good but would it work? and how could I connect to the throttle pedals? I might try or ask a electrician. But last night I was thinking does any one remember the old buggy servo operated speed controller (3 Speed I believe) that could work but how do I make one Thank one again Giuseppe
  3. Hi Just build this from a mobility scooter motor found it in a skip the kids called MoCart it took me 3 hours to build and £0 pounds Great fun for the kids and me the battery's are 24 volts in series 2x12v and its go a 20 amp overload and on a household switch, all work great and it last for ages but i was wondering would it be possible to put a Speed controller(what amps?) so that I can control the speed on a pedal or any other idea would be appreciated Enjoy your tube link **LINK**
  4. Going in to details of the article Solid state battery use solid lithium electrodes rather than the liquid mix of chemical and they have been around a long time. The first device was the cat's whisker detector invented in 1906 and also used in early 20th century radios Quote The holy grail of batteries could lead to thinner devices that last much, much, longer when charged I hope in future that this technology will be a benefit to us too
  5. What's all the fuss about Just read a article in Computer active about solid state battery's, a new type of reachable battery that last twice as long as lipo they cheaper to make and thinner there for lighter The article says that that sir James Dyson as invested 15 million in the company that makes them so that he can use them in future in is range of cordless vacuum cleaner also general motor invested in ,the company is Sakti3 technology and they recon than they can drive a car for 600 miles instead of the 300 miles they are currently achieving with lipo. They can be moulded in any shape because they contain no liquid they are safe and can hold more power This technology is a few years away but experts say that in future they will power anything that need charging they called the holy grail of battery Is this our future too!

  7. Hi I am not a gardener but my cousin in Italy as got a lot of lemon tree (I remember we use to play football with them) and he told me that is you grow a lemon tree from a seed the changes are 1 to 100 you will get lemons the 99 are (selvatico) meaning useless I know this because my son planted 2 seed and 3 years later we hade 2 lovely lemon tree but no flowers or lemon just nice to look at (cut them down and throw away) So 3 years ago my cousin gave me a lemon tree no bigger than 1foot witch he grow from a Seed but he added(crafted) the mother plant tree(small cut) witch is guaranteed lemon and I bought it back and this year as from now I am having my first tiny lemons around 19 plus some more flowers so pleased as my wife loved the limoncello liquer and you can still see the craft becoming as one tree and eventually disappear I did notice that the spikey torn on my grafted lemon tree are much smaller than the 2 original lemon tree we grew from seed also my tree is keep in the conservatory in winter and I put out outside in june and I have not feed any thing as my cousin says lemon tree prefer rain water Hope it helps

  15. KC thanks once again but is not the construction I want to know but the actual aircraft colour scheme I have Google Mathew and Biggles but is not the aircraft I am looking for and there is nothing there you mention you have the magazine could you please tell me is it the David Boddington plan in the magazine design by him and the cover shows this actual model Regards
  16. I have spoken to db sport and models but they could help as Mr Boddington made so many plans they don't know about this one, so I rung Aeromodelller magazine and they are a bit perplex but hopefully the get back to me in time Out of curiosity if the plan was presented in Dec 1989 RCM&E I can not find any stable holes on the plan Why
  17. Hi KC the fuselage on my plan shows as 1/8 and the design is by David Boddington . KC do you actually have the magazine or have you build one so far I can not find any picture or reference on goggle
  18. OK Thanks KC i have email Andrew hope to get some more info but on the internet there seems to be no pictures or blogs of any one doing one, the must be some one out there that as actually build one or i am alone in this search
  19. Saying that it dose look the same colour scheme something is not wright
  20. Thanks KC but I am not sure if the plan is the one designed by the late Boddington Quote from the magazine DH82A Tiger Moth - YOUR FULL SIZE PLAN for a '20' powered version of this Vintage Era biplan. 50" wingspan, designed by Mike Whittard i am going to email Andrew Thank you
  21. Tell me about it Jon my hanger is a 24 foot x 8 and originally my wife used 8 foot of it for her gym then the kids move in and used for a play house after much dealing and bribing I manage to take over the whole thing but now I need more space, there are so many unfinished project, and I don't seen to crash as much as I use to maybe is a good thing but because there are all my babies I can not bring myself to sell them the others can not be born because I have no space
  22. I trough my hanger was full I always had a soft spot the Falcon Mike you Must dig it out she is so original and so beautifully love it
  23. Hi i just given the plan of the D.H Tiger Moth by D.B originally presented with December 1986 RCM&E this is the 3 channel 46/3/4 span Flying Circus Barnstormers orange blue white scheme and i can not find much info on it DB sport and scale do one but is bigger span and electric and totally different construction It was design to take a 20 -4 stroke engine and i just love to build it using a 26 FS i love the colour scheme but i can not find any pictures on Google image looks like it was build in the days when every thing was made to last and probably a bit on the heavy side, the tails/fin/fuselage sides is solid 3/16 sheet but i intent to bring it alive with modern gear and maybe a bit lighter and should i add aileron on the wings or do i just leave it 3 channel? Dose any old timers out there know a bit more about this plan or if there is a pictures somewhere, any thing would help? Thank you in advance
  24. The Space Walker as always been one of my favourite aircraft I have seen them fly and are very beautifully to watch I may add one to my next winter build (from plan ) as the os 120 Gemini twin in my Savage Bobber would look the part or maybe Lovely Aeronca C3 razor back. Sod it I may do both
