Sorry to jump in but being a new member and a new builder i am watching this thread for tips etc.I have the plan also and might build along to.I am looking at the plan to see how the build goes and think i can manage it.but there are several areas i am lost on.Particuly sanding methods,take the elevator for instance.How would you go about sanding that taper from front to back.I presume a big sanding block would be needed but how is the taper kept nice and flat?

Hello,i am new to the forum and would like to know details os posting photos.I have posted a couple of times already and due to the posts being about my first build doing a build log was mentioned and any probs i have can normally be sorted with a photo etc.I understand i need to put my photos into a album then insert from there but can i ask what is the best file size to use on me camera,0.5,1,2,3,4 mega pix.would like the photo to be a good size in the post ,noy thumb nail size.also how do you put a photo and the end of each paragraph say,rather than all bunched up at the start or finish of the post.Thanks

Martyn, Thanks for the reply.Having had a quick look at your build thread your kit is similar to mine.The wing looks a similar build at least.my fuse is more "stick" built for a better.dont know terms yet.When i looked at the plans i knew straight away it is much more involved than my previous kits.The manual is some what basic but i am a beginner with no experience.someone else might find them very helpful. I will have a go at posting some pictures of the build as i go.

Hi Guys. This is only my second post and i think many more will come.I am fairly new to rc flying ,well 12 months but very new to building with only 2 small builds so far.to be honest there well just practice and to see if i liked this side of the hobby.well i did very much like it and just bought a DB SPORT kit.The sopwith pup E ,apx 40" span.I am bound to have many questions with probs etc and advice on techniques needed,iam totally new to this.Would i post any questions on the kit and methods here OR one the scale section.i know it only semi scale.I did a search on the pup hoping for specfic info but was unable to see any.

Hi Guys new to the hobby and the forum.I am a new flyer with a trainer and tuition at the mo but recently got into building.Only a couple of small kits under my belt so far just to learn on.recently found a wonderful thing called "laser cut" kits : ) My latest and soon to start DB sport and scale Pup E. I did start by mainly using CA mostly and here and there phatic but i now want to use mostly phatic.I would like to know if the thicker glues,titebond and normal phatic will be ok to use in the syringe style bottles you can buy.want to run small beads in places once initial glue drys.
