  2. it does brilliant flat spins with ease , thats not the problem , its why does it want to aggressively dive for the ground when applying full rudder , i didnt try opposite aileron but i will the next time i'm out , thinking about it when i do flat spins i have the rudder hard left , with opposite aileron and up elevator , so maybe i have answered my own question !! as i said earlier my m8 has the extra 260 , and it will do a nice flat turn with full rudder and up elevator , obviously a different model i know , but they are pretty similar in wing shape
  3. i've had the mix both on and off a switch john , at present it is not on a switch , the mix has around 8% UP elevator
  4. i have already trimmed for knife edge flight witha mix in the tx , it does knife edges with only rudder input , no need for elevator or ailerons once in knife edge
  5. trying out some 3d stuff , but not just that , my mate has the 30cc extra 260 , and his does not have that tendancy , he can perform an extremely tight flat turn with full rudder and up elevator , whereas i cant

  9. well not anymore after seeing the weather forecast for the weekend , 50mpg gusts !!!! and rain for next week ..... good old northeast of england
  10. just came back in and checked battery , the charger is sitting at 1.3A constant , and the battery seems to be charging
  11. theres only one channel in operation , the others just light up when the charger is switched on , i put a few tablets into each cell yesterday , the battery was my mates , and hasnt been used in quite a while , when i got it yesterday it was resding 10.6V on the multimeter
  12.     set the charger as above , with 4A timer off , and capacity cutoff off , but it dropped pretty quick to 0.9A , its showing 1.3A on the photo but by the time i had took it , it was 0.9A .... any ideas Edited By john melia 1 on 25/03/2015 09:25:48
  13. phil will i need to turn the timer off on the charger , and do i need to set the peak or just leave it

  15. thanks guys, so what do i set the current at on this quattro charger .. 3 or 4V as phil suggests , and leave for 24hrs ?
  16. cheers phil , i've had it on for 9hrs today at 0.5A , should i put it on again tomorrow for another 7hrs or so , how do i know when its fully charged

  20. i have two sets of spacwalker 2 wings you can have free if you want them , depends on where you live though
  21. i think if you are going down the petrol route , then noise is not an issue , there will always be someone to complain though , just the way it is
