  6. . The Racer in my post above is a Blackhorse Gilmore ARTF.   The original was called A Wedell-Williams Gilmore and was a racer in the early 1930's. I can't ID yours Paul, but it is of the same era, and has a similar engine, the word "Wasp" on your plane refers to the Pratt and Witney Wasp radial engine, which is  the same as used in the Gilmore.    Here's a link to more info:-   http://www.air-racing-history.com/aircraft/Wedell%20Williams%20No.44.htm   Here's a picture of it at the field. Well..I never win anyfing..but it's good to compete...   This is Graham Wilkes BH Gilmore, bought off eBay in a "well used" state, and nicely refurbished by Graham..An ASP70FS pulls this sucker round very nicely..     Oh!..and BTW, Nikon D80 wiv Tamron 28 ~ 300 lens...
