I am building a Flair Legionaire and I am wondering what is the best way to get the French roundels onto the wings. I have looked at water slide transfers but these are not fuel proof. If you paint fuel proofer on they wrinkle, I am told. Solartrim does not stick well to solartex. I have thought about painting them on but my painting skills are not great. What sort of paint is best and what templates are best. the only stick on ones I can find are on Hobby king and they are a bit small. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

can anyone suggest a suitable kit to build a Fournier motor glider? The only one I'm aware of is the west wings kit but I fancy something a hit bigger, but not as big as the Mick Reeves design

I have a glider with a 4 servo wing ( 2 flaps 2 ailerons) plus rudder and elevator, but no engine or motor . can I use a 6 channel Rx (AR610) to control each servo separately ? On the face of there are 6 servos and 6 channels, but I do not seem to be able to use the throttle channel for anything other than throttle. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I'm just wondering how to restore the shape of the wing since the foam is damaged and also what to use to replace the shattered hard wood veneer. Also I have just noticed typo int original post. Meant to put Chris Foss not fossil. No disrespect intended.

I have a Chris Fossil acro wot with a crash damaged foam veneered wing. It is crunched at both wing tips and at the centre. The hardwood veneer is shattered and the foam inside is squashed. What would be the best way to repair the damage. The wing is structurally sound otherwise. Thanks

I am looking to buy a Chipmunk ARTF. Could anyone advise on what is available, please. I am looking for something with a wingspan of about 60 inches possibly with flaps and suitable of 0.80 four stroke power.

Thanks for the info. What worries me about dope and tissue is that it can warp the structure. Perhaps using thinned dope would reduce this?

I'm thinking of using lite span with balsaloc. Have you ever used it?

I am building A Herr Engineering Fokker D-VII. I got this kit part built from a friend and the propeller is missing together with the bearing and prop shaft. Can anyone suggest a UK supplier for the parts. My local model shop could not oblige. SIG Mnf in USA can supply but with large p and p cost.

I have a phase 6 which I have converted to 2 wing servos, one for each aileron. Would I benefit from aileron differential. And if so what amount. Also, could I utilise the ailerons as flaps to slow the plane down for landing. And if so what settings should I use and what elevator should be added. Thanks.
