  1. Thanks for this Kremen, it looks very good. Yes, that model reviewed in Aeromodeller magazine, but which issue I don't remember. It is very nice that you have original propeller that has been given by famous modeller Ron Moulton. Electra Fly uses a Mabuchi motor? Edited By Levent Suberk on 23/12/2020 14:26:56
  2.   Printable label for G size Cox starter battery reproduction using D size batteries. Laser orint on vinyl give best result. I formed thin cardboard around D size battery, then applied sticker. I glued a plastic under tube and glued with epoxy. A screw and nut used as connector. This type of starter battery needs a special fork shape clip to use. Simply jolt the cardboard tube to remove battery. Download link: **LINK** Edited By Levent Suberk on 23/12/2020 14:11:52
  3. Voltage can be adjusted to 1.5 Volts with that step down converter. It can handle up to 5 Amperes. https://m.banggood.com/XL4015-5A-DC-DC-Step-Down-Adjustable-Power-Supply-Module-p-945599.html Firstly I fixed the heatsink on IC with supplied double sided adhesive tape and soldered a suitable connector to board input for changing LiPo battery when necessary. I opened a hole on top of starter box and soldered the glow plug clip cables directly on board output. Bolts and nuts can also be used on box top for glow plug clip connection instead of this. I adjusted 7.4 Volts 1350 mAh LiPo battery output voltage to 1.5 Volts with trimpot. Board has been fixed on battery with hook and loop strips. Whole assembly easily fits in Cox battery box. Foam blocks can be placed in box for packing.
  4. Templates for Cox battery box reproductions for 3 D size cells connected in parallel. A4 size sheets, 300 dpi. I printed on A4 size vinyl sticker sheet then applied sticker on thin cardboard. Laser print give best result. I wrapped batteries with electrical tape in parallel, then wrap two pieces of wire on positive and negative poles with electrical tape. Wires attached to nuts on box top. 5. Silentius is first electric model kit in the world. It is a free flight model uses dethermalizer. RC versions were made by modelers. Model need to be under 80 grams for Vector Extreme unit. I'll give a curve to balsa sheet wing by brushing Vallejo water based clear acrylic varnish on upper surface and nitrate dope on lower surfaces. I'll brush fuselage and empennage one or two coats acrylic varnish and measure total weight between coats.   (Image from rc-network.de)   Edited By Levent Suberk on 23/12/2020 09:52:09
  6. I also redraw Cox battery templates for reproduction boxes. I'll upload them here. You can see them in my photograph album.
  7. Hi Martin, it is advertised in Graupner catalogue FS 28 published in 1975. Perhaps it was manufactured before 1975, but I don't have any information about this.
  8. Hi John, Vector unit is a servo, receiver and esc unit. It can fly models up to 80 grams weight. I am going to change it's propeller with a drone propeller for more thrust. https://youtu.be/ePt8IsL9oeQ   Edited By Levent Suberk on 22/12/2020 21:19:57
  9. I'm going to build Graupner Silentius with Vector unit and Mz4 two channel radio. Want to share photographs here within time. I change build up wing and tail surfaces with all sheet 1 mm balsa.
  10. Graupner starter battery box. I print on adhesive back vinyl with laser printer then applied on thin cardboard. There are two D size parallel batteries inside. Cox battery clip soldered.   Download link: https://www.mediafire.com/file/v92l70nfhp522an/GSB_A3_300dpi.png/file   Edited By Levent Suberk on 22/12/2020 19:35:08
