  1. A small film from this year RCFF shootout, filmed on Saturday, July 2. The weather was not the best with rain and strong wind. But the rain stopped, so it was pretty much flying anyway. All in all it was a great day with good company with all the fine participants, must more than a little bad weather in order to dampen the mood at one such meeting.   Video has English subtitles   Hope you like the video.      Do not forget to subscribe to my channel ...................... BEB Thx for liking the video Biggles, If you are watching on a PC will you find the option for subs at the lower right hand corner of the Youtube screen as a small square where you enable the subtitles. 4. My youngest son Eirik is normally buddy boxing with a Bixler 2, but he did try to buddy box my Tundra. He flew like a pro, and no major problems. After that did he flew and landed Bixler 4 times with no problems so expect that he will be completely solo now in a short time. I have also added subtitles in English, sorry already for any typos when I have dyslexia. But believe that it is understandable, if there are large errors can you please send me a message with corrections. Hope you like the video. 5. I'm sorry Josip but for the moment dosent I have any low ving planes. Just sold my last one a Kawasaki Ki 61 Hien , but i'm building a balsa scratch build of a Texan that is just under 2m but it want be ready until next spring or late winter. .... I would love to have a Spitfire at 2-2.5 meters wide, it is just a magnificent plane with beautiful lines. But my economy says no..... 6. I did buy this Carbon Cub of a very good friend for a "can not say no" price. I have now tested it with my Taranis X9D Plus and then without gyro. Did notice some difference, but the Carbon Cub flies like a dream without gyro also. Flew only one battery of 3500 mAh, but had a total flying time of almost 12 minutes so I am very satisfied. 7. Posted by oldgit on 25/06/2016 12:08:14: Hi   have just bought te tundra and was going to give the floats a go, did you tape up the holes on the underside of fuselage Congrats with the Tundra you will have blast with it.   No i did not tape the holes and didn't get any water inside, the holes needs to be there to keep up the airflow inside for cooling the electronics.   Regards Bjarne Kvilvang Flying electric and metanol planes and has been flying sens early 80's Currently do I have about 20 planes in the hangar, wingspan from 50cm to 250cm.   Please subscribe to my Youtube channel, normally do I upload videos several times per month.   Edited By Bjarne Kvilvang on 25/06/2016 12:30:40 Edited By Bjarne Kvilvang on 25/06/2016 12:31:04
  8. During our camping weekend did Marius my oldest son who has just become a solo flier fly with pontoons for the very first time. We connected the buddy box cable in case, but it was not necessary, he flew perfectly, and one would think that he done this many times, perfect takeoff and landings .......... I am a really proud dad now ......   I am now more than happy to lend him my Tundra either with wheels or floats and let him fly as he wants.   Hope you like the video. 11. Thx Jo, we do have a beautiful scenery here.... oldgit it seems like there out of stock everywhere, so they will probably restock as soon as possible...... Thx Philflyer nice that you liked the video. It's great fun flying of water, and this model just begs for it. Inverted does it just need some degrees of down elevator and then it flys great inverted............. 12. The wind did finally calm down at the evening June 6 (The Swedish National Day) and a better finish on the National Day than this could not I have gotten. It was a lovely evening in a wonderful nature. Thought the film came out pretty good too, divided into 3 parts. The first is maiden with Tundra on water, so a little relaxation flight with some low passes over water and at the end a little onboard video from the Tundra so that one can see the wonderful scenery we have here in Härjedalen. Hope you like the video. Do not forget to subscribe to my channel ...................... 13. The first meeting this year for me, "Rustlöser" (translate as "Rust Fixes" on Hedlanda May 27 to 29. It was a real good meeting even if the weather was not on our side, but for us that is not made of sugar and could tolerate some rain did we had a great Friday and a perfect Sunday. Saturday was unfortunately not the best day, but there was a lot of flying the other days. As usual did I make a video. The video is 26:30 minutes and contains the following models: Mig 29 Blackhorse (jet) - Innovator MD 530 Helicopter - skydivers dropped from Tundra- F9F4 Panther (jet) - Bixler2 crash - RC-Viking - Carbon cub - Skymaster F-15 (jet) - Navy Grumman Cougar (jet) - Bell UH-1b turbine helicopter (jet)   Hope you like the video.     Do not forget to subscribe to my channel ......................   Regards Bjarne Kvilvang Flying electric and metanol planes and has been flying sens early 80's Currently do I have about 20 planes in the hangar, wingspan from 50cm to 250cm.   Please subscribe to my Youtube channel, normally do I upload videos several times per month.

  15. Posted by Phil 9 on 26/05/2016 10:43:51: great video looks like you all had fun Thx Phil, we had a blast and pure joy playing with my son and grandson. I think that we newer get to be to old to play with toy skydivers, we just figure out hove to drop them from a higher height then what we could do when we where younger when we put some rocks in the chute to be able to throw it as high as possible......... 16. Got unexpected visit from my grandchildren and the oldest wanted us out flying and drop skydivers from my Tundra and that we would film so he could be on grandfather's Youtube channel. So we went out and had a wonderful afternoon. I, my youngest son and my oldest grandson. 17. Thx fly boy3, It's sand. And there will be mor videos, probably later today with a new video dropping some parachute jumpers with my youngest son and my oldest grandson due to that he wanted to be an granddads Youtube channel and catch some jumpers. Thx extra slim. I'm pretty stable flying inverted, but far from that good....... I have actually tried some harrier type approach in heavy wind (about 7-10 m/s) and that works great, but when I filmed this was it dead calm out so the landing speed was a bit high. 19. I arranged a small challenge to myself where I drew a 3x4m box in the sand that I would try to take off and land inside with my Tundra. Managed to do it some times, but have to admit that it's harder than it looks. I do want more small challenges to do with the Tundra so if you have an idea for a good challenge, do not hesitate, tell me about it ...... Hope you like the video. 21. A good friend gave me a good old RC Viking as a gift in February and last weekend was time to test this old timer model. RC Viking was constructed in the late 50's by Erik Göte Berglund, a lovely 3-channel model. This model got quite a few flights during the weekend, and it will be many more in the future. An absolutely stunning and beautiful model to fly while its providing flashback to the late 80's when I last flew a 3-channel model. Hope you like the video.
