Hi, have a question, I live and fly models in Qatar, so have not bothered to get this license,
So, when I come visit the UK am I allowed to go and by a shiny new Wots Wot from my model shop or do I need the license to purchase any models, is it just to operate?
if you need before purchase then I know a couple of Qatar guy here who come over and spend 10 to 15 thousand on models each visit who will not be happy.
be safe

Hi all,
I live in Qatar, there is a very active club here with a lot of new modelers, a few of whom are keen on building from plans, they have built from CNC kit and with a little help will be fine from plans, so if the 2018 model is suitable we will join in.
Chilli Breeze or similar sports type would be ideal.
Happy flying

Phil,
Put your most reliable engine on the left. and tune each engine individually, don't try and match them. they might be matched on the ground but go out of sync in the air and visa-versa, just make sure you can trust them. go fly it, then when your happy, use radio to sync them by sound, I have not used my tacho for years, always by ear. reliability is the key.
