    My Piwakawaka with 200W motor.4 9g servos & Cirrus Rx glitched badly. Partly cured by pointing the Tx ariel at 90degrees to the model.

    What do I do with the breather ? I seem to recall reading that there is an optimum length for the breather pipe. How long should it be ?

    Built mine from 5mm EPP Blue wonder brushless 12A ESC from giantcod.cu.uk Flew well first outing but needed more controll movement. Second outing (steady breeze) wing folded, now strengthened with 3mm CF rod. Waiting for calm spell to try again

    Back in October 07 I bought 4 off 9g servos from RCMDirect. I used 1 immediately and put the other 3 in my spares box untill Wed 12/March when I found that one was locked solid. I rang the dealer and with no quibble they offered a free replacement, this arrived today 15 march and I was not asked to return the defective unit. Great service

    Bought a small bluebell motor for a shockie, ran well, flew well. Unfortunately pilot error caused heavy arrival resulting in shaft snapping at base of threaded portion. No spares available!!!

    The Wildwing from BRC as sugested above. With a speed 400 and 8 cell NMh an American forum refers to this set up as a 'mild wing' but is still great fun especialy at the price. Needs a good hefty launch, more so in calm conditions. Mine has been modified for bungie launch

    Electric motors, of all types have, as an esential component, very powerfull magnets. These magnets can easily pick up any stray bits of ferrus metal laying around on your work bench, in your car or at the field. If said bits stay in your motor when you try to start up can result in a burnt out motor or speed controller. Do'nt ask how I know this!!

    I am building a Miranda flying boat from a plan published in Aeromodler October 1955and am converting to RC/electric. Plan was bought from X-list plans. Has anyone done this before ? Has anyone flown one FF. Any further info would be welcome
