  1. If you think the bottle has gone off and feels solid, before throwing it out it is worth just opening the bottle and using an old screwdriver to break through the solid surface - you may find the glue underneath is perfectly useable as the set glue has protected the rest from moisture - recently had to use an old bottle in this state, and the resulting joint using the remaining glue was fine on a bit of outdoor furniture.

I echo Steve's comment about clamping - fail to do so at your peril! And keep it off skin and clothes - once on it's there forever!!

  2. My wife has one of these and it's quite easy to assemble and disassemble. I have an XF and they are not renowned for boot space, but the scooter will fit in just half, leaving room for a case or shopping. Being Lithium it holds the charge forever and with a 7 mile range we find that we do not have to charge it very often.

The tyres are solid and have a good grip but as you say ground clearance is only a couple of inches.

  3. I've had great fun with the Volantex Phoenix 2.4m glider available from Banggood at around £150 here.

In the last 6 outings twice I have had to force it down at the end of a flight because it was reacting so well to lift.

Sure it is not as responsive to light thermals as a lightweight floater but it does not take much for it to stay up and even without lift the excellent glide ratio means you get a decent flight once you switch off the motor.
