Any news?
Eric, I just found out how to correct this yourself, at least it worked for me.
You need to go to the pocketmags.com site and log in, then click on Activate Subscription in the sidebar which brings up a classic magazines page where you can fill in your email and Custom ID for RCM&E, then activate.
In my case it was instant.
I have no idea why the digital account was deactivated, but maybe it has something to do with the magazines' request earlier this month for those of us who pay with a creditcard.
Anyway I hope it solves it for you too.

What's happening to the digital archive?
Do we have to pay extra now to access the archive?
For new subscribers it now states the you can have access to 120 years of history....so does that mean the online archive is going to go way further back than 2007 as it was previously.
Anybody have any insight on what Mortons is planning ?

Hi Piers,
Like stated in another thread I'm trying to sort out my local club's plan archive...
We have hundreds of plans and I'm trying to find the matching articles as much as possible.
there's a lot still online, but a lot has been 'lost' as well.
So far I've got most of the RCME plans from 2000 onwards, but still a lot to go through ?Now I'm looking for some more info on the Kwatz by J.J. Sutter from the Dec 2000 issue...

Alfred, I can send you a scanned copy of these photos, if they are difficult to read. Just PM me.
Probably fly very nicely with a modern brushless motor and LiPo.No need, the pictures are just fine, thanks that was a great help !

I would think that your best way of getting more information would be to buy a used copy of the January 2002 RCM&E, as you will get the build article.
I know you are right, but as this is the library of our local club I have a stack of over 2000 plans I'm sorting out (RCM&E, FMT, Model World, Radio Modeller etc), I can't get all the articles, but I just want all the basic info in the database like designer, wingspan, type of aircraft and a picture if possible...

Is there a digital archive somewhere that goes further back than 2007 ?

Well as an International subscriber I am pleased, the June issue appeared on the doorstep 2 weeks earlier than usual ?
Only a day or 2 after it appeared in the app.

I asked them about the dec/jan issue, this was the reply I got:
"It was a late decision due to the latest English lockdown. This should explain things:
Due to November's month-long English lockdown MyTime Media decided to postpone their magazines' on-sale dates until after the lockdown had finished.
All MTM magazines, including RCM&E, were rescheduled to avoid any going on sale during the lockdown, during which time the majority of UK news outlets would be closed. Hence, it was decided to rename the December issues to December/January to cover the time the issue following the lockdown would be in the stores.
So the next one will be the Feb issue."

cutting your own foam wing cores and how to skin them, etc.
Well I did just that in this month's magazine about our LLC Solarwing.....
It was my first, and probably only, article ever, but I tried and hope you still found it somewhat enjoyable to read. -
Yes please.....
ahh shoot, only UK addresses 😩

Pls, although I was disappointed and up to this day still don’t understand the reasoning behind the decision, there are more pressing issues in the world of today.
-
This is the reply I got:
We are happy to say that overseas posting has been resumed with the lastest July issue and so will currently be on its way to you now. Please do allow a few weeks for it to get to you, as although it has been resumed it is a little slower than it was before.
Any issues that you've missed during this pause have been added onto the end of your current subscription term so that you receive everything that you've paid for.
But we are waiting for clarification that you will either receive the missing issues (which may be difficult as the print runs were reduced) or you have the same amount of issues added to the end of your subscription. From the wording of the above, I think they intend to simply add extra issues to the end of your subscription...Edited By Alfred Vink on 03/07/2020 09:32:58
Pictures wanted from plan builds
in RCM&E Plan Builders
Posted
I'm maintaining our club archives and we have well over 1000 plans, so during the winter I've been organizing and cataloging them into an online library database for our members.
But I'm missing a few pictures of builds I can't find online.
So if anyone has a picture of the following builds I'd appreciate it:
Coachman by Mike White, Nov 1996 issue
Cloud Danser by Mark Bees, Sept 1999 issue
Cooter by Julian Beckett, Aug 2006 issue
That would be helpful to complete my info.
