  1. I have heavily based the exhaust tail around Phil and Dirk’s build methods. Although I would probably use Phil’s full block method if there was to be a next time, and not extend the side elevator fillets to their full length.
My thoughts was to do as much shaping to the exhaust section before attaching to the fuselage to avoid over handling of the fuzz, this required a lot of lost grey matter (hair) and head scratching along with the odd prayer
A philosopher once said :- There is a right way, a wrong way and a quick way, well my method was definitely not the quick way.

Viola ( Wa-lar) tis done! one sexy tail end. I will now have to fit a couple of side winders to keep those tail end Charlie Mig’s off.

The final shaping can now commence.

  2. Welcome to my picture blog.
Firstly I would like to give a big thanks to Martin who
on a dark December night delivered the sabre kit in person.
It’s not every one who gets the low down from the designer.
Secondly I would like to thank everybody who has contributed
to this forum. The best instruction booklet ever.
Due to a large decorating project at home work on the model
did not start until mid February, as the time frame was short I
went with a basic full aileron construction,
as they say “less is more” Right?
Here in pictures is my build so far.
