  1. oh yes yes yes please count me in so want it need it
  2. I'm in the process of chosing a power train for this fournier rf4 motor glider hopefully utilising some 1320mAh 3s 15c lipos that i have. any suggestions ?
  3. all points taken timbo esp the advice to face mecca er wich way is that seriously though the bit about twisted wire is this refering to internal costruction as every servo i've ever owned and all extension leads seem to be flat construction or am i missing somat
  4. I understand the reason for connecting to the -ve is to create an effective shield all noise is grounded to the bty and dissapated I THINK  the rec would need to be seperated from the bty / esc so no and the need to have the esc in a cooling flow off air prob negates my suggestion for shielding it just thought that as the esc seems to be the cause of the prob there might be an argument for isolating this noise at source rather than trying shield the bits it affects
  5. One more thought thats occured while reading this and maybe this will start another debate is there likely to be an argument for housing esc & battery in a foil lined box properly connected to bty -ve
  6. Just a thought Shaun is your battery to esc lead as short as possible? apparently this lead is the biggest culprit for errant noise causing glitches my beguine had similar probs till i put the esc and bty less than 4cm apart and incidently the rx in the rear half off the fuselage no probs since with range checks
  7. just like me mate now i think a little attention to the long haired blonde one might be in order to secure the funds hee hee
  8. It has been released according to the diary just they're snowed under with pre orders think it needs a big manufacturer to take production on
  9. well you pays ya money mate  think we're going of thread he he before i go thanks for the info on the floats and check this link and unlike eric scroll right down the page happy landings Twin rex aka ch47
  10. Amongst considerations other than the tech glitch free thing scale heli,s look so much better without the huge ariel wire and to be honest now,s a good time to change as the futaba will prob still sell on
  11. I'm afraid my new wings are waiting till I've spent a £100 quid on a spektrum dxi6 2.4 ghz system movin into rotary's is making that a must as is electrifying my hanger
  12. You need to look close sellotape repair to canopy and paint missing but I do try thanks
  13. Very smart mate as you can see mines an older version and yes still on original motors
  14. Thanks mate well not actually a medivac its the bell 47 civilian version before the medivac. i'll try these  1st. I'm assuming its a fairly high density foam. any way thanks again happy flying
  15. If you go to that link and scroll right down the page there's the full story and a video of the bare bones prototype flying very interesting stuff it is too
  16. its become some thing (unintentionally) of a test bed for ideas started as a 3 channel parkfly chuckabout that was a pig to keep up so determined to make it work now has flaperons and a bigger motor tried out stuff like mass balancing on elevators and all in all its getting much easir to fly
  17. Just re read your post timbo where did you find the prop recomendations because i couldn't find it on my plans as i recall and wot do think about a wing area increase to reduce loading as it is slightly over weight according to the orriginal specs
  18. A very nice model david is it scratch or kit I wonder? either way a top job
  19. Blue foam have you a supplier of this rocking horse stuff
  20. I take it you've seen the heli eric wot do you think . maybe david can aquire a review model perhaps we can petition him eh
  21. what is that heli the way it surrvived the 1st prang i want one lol oh and at last some one who crashes nearly as much as i do keep up the good work mate  think i'll have to find a good camera man too just to keep you all properly amused
  22. good point eric but the motor is drawing less than half the rated amps of the esc and the extra exspense of 4s batteries is one I'm trying to avoid and my current lipo charger is quite small and only handles up to 3s
  23. wot did you use for the floats often thought about fitting mine with them
