  1. Thanks for the advice, an eflite 400 has a 4200Kv rating, thats what it says in the specs anyway, but if u recommend a 2200kv ill go for that, im clueless about this, being used to ic flight.  Also i thought ude need to use an inrunner type motor but an outrunner would suit me better being more available on ebay. P.S. what do you think of this motor http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xpower-MP2212-06-Outrunner-Brushless-Motor-2200KV-1-4A_W0QQitemZ270193167745QQihZ017QQcategoryZ34056QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
  2. Since having a few go's on a fellow club members Great Planes Slinger, Im hooked and Ive gotto have one!!!  Can anyone recommend a Brushless motor for this Flying Wing, including the Kv rating I was thinkin of putting an Elflite 400 in it.
  3. Cool, 46 it is then if i ever finish covering the wings!! thanks for the advice ill let u know how it flies when i finish(eventually).
  4. i could always put lead weight in the back to balance it out or is that going to make it too heavy?
  5. ive got a 25 i can try it with, then i think ill put a size 40 in, dont fancy it being too nose heavy though, being new to the sport,
  6. Im currently building a Chriss fosse Uno Wot, this will be my 2nd model(currently flying a seagull cessna with a 46 os engine) not counting the aerobird challenger which i taught myself to fly on and was loads of fun but now is trashed having crashed it too many times, the last time i actually managed to crash it into a cow pat! Anyway enough rambling, does anybody know if a Uno Wot can handle a 40/46 size engine because im not sure if a 25 engine(recommended) is going to give me enough power at my flying site which is nearly always windy. Any ideas greatly apprieciated.  Yes im in a club and members there reckon it would but ide like other opinions  if possible
  7. i crashed on take off a week after going solo, gutted spent the afternoon/evening with a couple of tubes of 5 min epoxy and was flying again the next day!! no more crashes so far touch balsa!
