Hi David,
Ive had two TRAVEL AIRs very good low winger, like it so much when first one went into the ground brought travel air number two!
Can you tell me about the silhouette, is that the priory model kits? I brought mine from wings and wheels and is ready for going up this weekend, what engine did you use and was it inverted, and how did it fly.
Many thanks
Andy

Thank you for that Eric, ill sort that out.

Hi,
Engine went in inverted ok, started first time, ran well but still to take maiden flight!
Can anyone advise me on the fuel tank set up, as I have put the tank in as if the engine was upright. Does the fuel tank need to go in inverted or does it not matter. The reason I ask is that fuel came out from the silencer tube before the tank was full.
Thanks for any help!!!

Understood all that, thank you Richard, its certainly helps me. I think reading all this I might try and get engine mount out and put it engine upright.

so I take it I would it be ok to put four stroke plug in sc 46, I didnt know that you could do that, so thanks for that Phil, Does it matter what make of four stroke or any four stroke plug.

Iam ready for putting .46 in a low wing plane (silhouette brought from wings and wheels) and the cowl is designed to enclose the motor inverted, is it ok for two stroke to be inverted, would this be bad news? or is inverted really just for four stroke?, all advice appreciated.

Hi guys, I am on my second Twister, after 6 months with twister number one( last year), the ground came up from know where! I did buy Twister number 2, I just love it, you can throw it around on full throttle, and its like a trainer on half throttle, I have a jen 47 in mine.
My only moan is the same thing happen to me with the under carridge being really weak, and mine ripped out, so pete if i was you, I would really reinforce the under carridge inside and fual tank area, which ive done with twister number 2.

Hi Ron, going back to the low winger, my first low winger was a Blackhorse Twister, very good plane, and nice looking, full throttle it can do just about anything, pull stick back to half throttle is like a trainer,i have a Jen 47 in mine,so your .46 should be well matched, i love it.

Hi all, i have a protech Ibis(the .46 size as threre is a bigger one) and passed test for my A certificate last year on ibis, its a lovey looking trainer, and flies superbly and the quality is very good, in fact went dead stick just before xmas, to much of mess to repair and missed it so much bought myself ibis number 2.
