  1. RW, just check that you haven't inadvertently left the default setting of the stream at "Last 365 days". That one has caught me out a few times.
  2. GG tap on your name/avatar anywhere you can see it. Then there's a tiny little content button just below your header photo, like this
  3. Hi Erf, good to see you made it in here. There are a few new forum userguides here:- https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/index.php?/forum/31-forum-user-guides/
  4. Understood, Dickw and that reason/usecase does make sense. Unfortunately we're going to have to live with what we ended up with. However, you can now make new albums and put new photos in them, that facility isn't missing. The old forum frontend and database was completely bespoke and was designed by a single person who I believe has been out of contact for some time. There was no documentation either, so I understand. So the fact that we have the vast majority of everything ever posted there, is, in my opinion, absolutely remarkable. The alternatives to where we've ended up don't bear thinking about and I'm not sure how long the old one could have been kept going either.
  5. Having saved the .mov in my files area, and pasted a link here https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/uploads/monthly_2021_02/1110941888_vulcantakeoff.mov.e7dd0768935deceab651f598d68de411.mov Then using the Other Media button vulcan landing.MOV
  6. Craig's .mov file converted to .avi but posted using choose files 1110941888_vulcantakeoff.avi
  7. Craig's .mov file converted to .avi Dragged and dropped to the typing area. 1110941888_vulcantakeoff.avi
  8. Craig's .mov file converted to .avi Dragged and dropped to the drag files to here area. 1110941888_vulcantakeoff.avi
  9. This may seem like a flippant question, Stephen, but why do you need them in albums? Photos that were already in therads are still in those threads. New photos that you wish to post don't need to be in albums. Just upload them direct into the thread.
  10. Martin it's a three click process to look at your own posts but isn't too hard. (Or there's a way to make yor own link to them but I won't cover that here) 1) Click on your name to bring up your profile. 2) At the right hand side click See my activity 3) In the left hand column click Topics (Or Images if you want to find those)
  11. Please check the forum user guides https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/47088-how-to-find-your-old-photos-in-the-new-modelflying-platform/
  12. This is a simple one. Having clicked on a thread title in any list of new posts, I was always taken to the first post of that therad. That's not what I wanted. So to switch this to always take you to the latest post, try this:- Click on your name (Top right). Go to Account Settings and then click Content View Behaviour. Change to - Take me to the latest comment and then hit Save
  13. Yes I believe so Geoff. (But we're all new to this, of course). Chris
  14. Brian try this, assuming you're seeing the full version of the site and not the "mobile" ome. Top of page, click the bell. Then Notification settings. Right at the bottom of that page is a checkbox to turn on and off sounds. That may be it, not sure.
  15. I'll do a write up on creating your own latest posts feed. Not tonight and not until I'm sure I have it right.
