  6. Ive just got a GWS T6, 4ch warbird trainner, YELLOW & RED, I`m using the gws bl2215/12 outrunner, 10"x6 Prop / 3S 1800 lipo and 18amp esc. nano servos,  looks great, will fly it in a few week time , I hope.  any on else got one of these.   Very easy to put together, instruction are ok, mostly photos/text. comes with all parts inc motor mount and controls connectors plus ext leads. The basic kit needs to add motor.esc/servo`s.battery & Tx/RX. to fly, hope to put up some photos once built. look forward to hear from other flyers with this plane setup and flght logs etc. Cheers Chris.
  7. Hi Chris Ive got one two. had similar problem, but more with selecting the right motor / esc / battery see my gws t6 post, timbo gave me some plain tech info. im using a gws 3024/8toutrunner brushless motor , 11"x5.5 prop , 60amp esc & 1800mah S3 lipo cells, these cells are 20c. yes these cells are not good for trainning, very short flight time around 3.5-4min, have tried 2100mah S3 cells get around 6/7mins which is ok for me, still being a newbie. hope this is some help.
  8. Tim, Thank You. No offence taken. The info you provided is just right, I understand all the bits now. YES IM STILL GETTING A WATT METER, once the kids have stopped bleading me dry this week.. it was a 3cell lipo @ 1800ah Cheers mate. once again thanks. very happy newbie...Chris

  18. Hi, Just got the latest segul trainner, Inovator EP. Lovley model, good intrustions, but no info on with brushless motor in setup. it says needed to complete, esc 45-50amp, recommened battery 3 cell - 2200Am to 3200Am lipo and thats it. (flighing weight is 1300g-1600g, wing span 55inch, area 486.7sq inc, length 42.5 inch i have got a motor that may do the job, a Aeolian 2830 pro 1000kv out runner rated at rotation speed 1000kv rpm/v, 22a cont current, max current 28a, input voltage 6-14.8v, power 390w, recommend propsize 9"x4.5" / 10"x6"/ 10"x5", The inovator manual dosesn`t say prop size,  ive also got a 1800am 20c lipo, will that do until i can get better one.
