  2. I have one of these spits, bought it of lad in club with two spare fuz uncovered ,3 vertical stabilsers and 3 horizontal stabilser ,loads of spare bits, engine, servos the lot. one of the fuz's is covered but the wing is not, i got the lot for £100 said he lost interest. i have been pondering on the way forward with this model and if i should sell it on, or complete it as i know spitfires can be difficult to setup and fly well. interesting about the comments on mods made to model i was going to do them anyway as i dont like aileron setup like that i prefer 2 servo's and also bin the code 4 radio gear as i have all spektrum kit, the weight of the model seems high though i weighed mine tonight and i recon it will come out at around 7-8 lb when complete would that be about right.
  3. Ok Timbo point taken, now im not complaining the service i have had has been fine with BRC they are a little hard to reach by phone but they do answer any emails i send. would Scott be so kind as to post some Photos of the model in question and also what setup he has for it, i can do the same for mine then.
  4. well scott i will keep battery as it works in Panther F9F, have you built  F35 , and flown it with reccomended settup? yet.. my opinion is, if you suggest settups you should have at least flown one. And to answer the other question as to this being the place to sort it. Well yes it is!! as you are one of the sponcers and you do advertise in mag and on web site, so yes sort it in full view of buyers,, only shows how good you  are.
  5. Hi scott, i am still trying to get that CG right on your F35 way to nose  heavey with the Rino 2150 4S (14.8v) 20C/30C that is recommended on your web site has any body flown one of these on that set up, i have thought of using the two 2S lipos you said but i dont see how that would help even if staggared as they come to nearly the same weight as the other battery, however i can fit the 14v battery in my F9F Panther i bought from your shop, and its CG is not bad.
  6. Congratulations Peter she rarely looks a thing of beauty, and looks stunning in the Air Mate, may you have many hours of enjoyment from her, I am raiding my piggy bank to get one now ive seen how yours looks and flys, and i will be following your build.
  7. ohhhhh they has turned to smileys.  normally have little picture to click on to add those, ahh apologies mate there i go again. off topic.
  8. Well thats me told off, Timbo it was meant as a joke, i appreciate you have had some input in this thread and very good it is too, i have read all of this thread and find it interesting as i am contemplating buying the B25 my self. And i would not dream of calling you pedantic mate a little touchy maybe, and it was only a slight departure from the topic they are electric ducted fans. and you gotta amit chinese instructions are the pits, I would have put smiley up but can not find them on the page.so will these do . LoL
  9. Ok lads time out, S , C S2P we all get watts watt. Peter lets get on with the build, i can not wait to see this Baby fly. If you only had my problems, I just bought 2 models from BRC Hobbies an F9f Phantom, and an F35 both foamies and Ducted fans. Man someone needs to put a forum up here on how to decipher chinese instructions, both models have the worst set i have ever come across. Talk about chinese puzles. ive asked the lads at shop to build the F35 and then let me know how they done it. I managed to fathom out the F9f after some time scratching my head.
  10. Im sure we are all  eagerly waiting for the next installment, i am getting the B25 for my winter building project and am hopeing you guys get things sorted, so I being a numpty can learn from your vast experiance, come on peter, its worse than waiting for my next delivery of RCM&E.
