Dennis Ainsworth
Really getting confused now about the swashplate setup on this r/c gear, just had an email from the dealer to tell me that this gear will only support 120 degree mixing, this sets a problem as I have two helis with the swashplate ball connectors at 90 degrees (one new and under construction and the other not yet flown) and another kit for one at 120 degrees. The instruction manual quotes that you can set it to one of two swashplates, 1-S or 3-S, havnt got a clue what these really mean. I have not used this gear at all yetCan anybody shed any light on this lot as I am getting really desperate. Do I need a better r/c outfit. John Trever
Dennisnot been heli flying for long but I use a 6EXH and I think its set for 120 degrees.I'll check the manual and try to rememeber to ask those who helped set the beast up .It works fine with an align rx and hitec servos in a twister 3d. wlfk
I think you should be OK - if the 2 servos are at 90 degrees, then there will be a separate servo for the collective pitch. In that case, you don't need to use mixing at all. There are rare swashplates with funny angles - 140 degrees, and that sort of thing.K
