Tim Mackey
Posted by Geoff N. New stuff is self adhesive laminating film . It does not shrink but also does not stretch .Apply with hot iron. I have coverd my Wild Thing with it . Smooth and rigid No Cross weave tape . New stuff 250 micron directly on to EPP no filler or spray on adhesive. see for starters the following RCMF threads new stuff 1new stuff 2newstuff 3 I asked about this stuff ( laminating film ) in another thread, and wanted to learn a bit more about its use. Turns out that one of our club members uses it, so I may well pick up some ideas from him, but interested to know others views and experiences.Lets start with some basics.1) Where is it used - and why ??2) What are the benefits over say... CW tape - ( rigidity I guess? )3) What are the disadvantages?4) Where do you get it?5) Why is not more common?Edited By Tim Mackey - Administrator on 24/11/2010 13:42:
