Gary Murphy 1 Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 I need help with options for a trainer.Although the instructor as no probs with wot4 using buddy system so my options are a bit beyond the basic trainer. The thing is i have 5s cell ,4200 mah packs from a heli i would like to make use of,470g ,100x33x70mm. Would there be any kit out there which will take the 5s packs.I will get motor/escto suit. Richard Wood Posted July 15, 2011 Share Posted July 15, 2011 Well a Wot 4 with certainly take a 5S 4200maH (I fly one) but is not really a trainer without careful use of throttle & a willing instructor. Do you want an ARTF or a kit to build? Big ARTF purpose-designed electric trainers are a bit thin on the ground but something like a Thunder Tiger Trainer 60 might be suitable for conversion. A DB Skyrider plan pack springs to mind as a good trad. built advanced trainer. Look around for a .46 - .60 ic powered model if you're up for a conversion.
