Katerina Galatzyne
Hi Everyone.I have been flying sport models for some time.I like to fly the International Aerobatic schedule etc.. Now this is ok to practice etc without getting into to much dificulty once you have gained pleanty of experience flying and practice each manover, one at a time before puting them all together. I have recently been trying 3d and well, its pretty easy to get into all sorts of scrapes - So my question is this :Has anybody used and what was there experience using a Futaba PA-1 or PA-2 Pilot-Assist-Link. Its reliability, usefullness etc. Or - are there other products which work better ? (eg: Gyros and which ones)Katie
Mike Bell
I'm not sure what a Pilot Assist link is, but I would say that the best thing to use to get your head around 3D is a good simulator. Simulators aren't than useful for pattern but for the prop hanging, harrier rolling type of stuff they are pretty good at developing the basic stick movements. Using gyros kind of smacks of cheating, but that's just my opinion.
