Ton van Munsteren
Hi Roger, Great the Corby had its maiden flight I think the best would be to at some weight in the nose. Looks like the Corby is a bit tail heavy. For tipping over maybe use a bigger wheel or a thin wheel to have less resistance from the grass. Can't wait to se the Corby in flight. Roger Mason 1
Hi Ton,Thanks for your message. The CofG is as per the plan. Adding weight to nose is possible, but I did note that the model was perfect on a glide approach, which why I went for thrustline changes. However I will try some weight on the next test session. Good idea about thinner wheels.Club members have made favourable comments when the model is in the air.Regards,Roger
Ton van Munsteren
Hi Roger, Maybe you can slide the Lipo 5mm more forward, that could make the difference. Most of the time is a sensitive elevator a cg just a little to aft and the 5mm lipo more forward can make the difference. Great to know your club members like the Corby Cheers Ton
Roger Mason 1
Hi Ton,You must be working late. Thanks for suggestion re battery. I have put a spacer at the back of the battery tray which brings the battery forward about 6mm, and have also fitted some thinner wheels so we will see how that goes. Will let you know the results, possibly by end of week. Many thanks.Regards,Roger
