Robert Coxon
Hi, another site full of wonderous stories, banter, information and finger wagging lol. Been flying since I was about nine...check the casuals in my profile photo lol. I'm 42 now and getting to grips with rotary wing birds of late but have hit a brick wall of finger-brain compatibility at high speed. So, I am looking to slow things down a bit, don a white floppy sun hat , unfold the deckchair and crack open a thermos full of hot coffee. I am looking at building either or both an old electric 100" span Gooney Bird, flying 'plank' and/or another oldie...the 128" span Selestra by Roy Garner from a rather dogg-eared cream coloured plan...must be 20 years old at least. I am having trouble finding a plan for the Gooney Bird though..
Olly P
Welcome! try outerzone for more vintage plans - they often have them and a local printshop should be able to print them to scale. If you know who published 'gooney bird' we might be able to help!

Robert Coxon
No joy there either, sadly another great designer and his legacies are disappearing.
