EDF Assembly

Hi all!

I am in the process of assembling my EDF motor that will be put into a T-45 kit. This is my first time assembling an EDF motor so I have run into an obstacle. I am aware that once I put the motor into the EDF housing (which I know how to do), I will be unable to put the fan on due to a metal piece obstructing it. I do not know how to remove it and what I will have to do once I put the fan/spinner on... Do you?

Thanks in advance!20130730_150922.jpg
