stevejet66
Ok im upgrading slowly and the mijet kj66 is almost finished and ready to fly. Ive brought a brand new simjet sonic 7000, Although its a few years old its only been run up twice. Ok its starts fine runs well, throttles up and down, But after 2 mins back at idle speed the red led on the pilot controll panel comes on and the engine shuts down, The idle was set as per manual, Not that good with ecu's as ive never used them. Ive checked the rpm sencer, No air in fuel pipes, Maybe someone who as owned a simjet can point me in the right direction as why the engine is shuting down, Thanks in advance. Philip Ogden
A friend of mine had a similar problem with nothing obvious at fault. It turned out to be the wiring on the battery was too thin not allowing the pump to draw enough current. might be worth checking.
